About Tour
The Kedarnath Yatra (3 Nights / 4 Days) by Rajputana Holidays is a deeply spiritual journey that takes devotees to the sacred abode of Lord Shiva, nestled in the majestic Garhwal Himalayas. The pilgrimage begins from Delhi, where travelers may explore renowned spiritual and cultural landmarks such as Akshardham Temple, Lotus Temple, and India Gate, before proceeding towards Haridwar.
On arrival in Haridwar, pilgrims witness the soul-enriching Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri, a divine ritual that beautifully sets the spiritual tone for the yatra. The journey then continues through the sacred towns of Rishikesh, Devprayag—the holy confluence of the Bhagirathi and Alaknanda rivers—and Rudraprayag, before reaching Guptkashi. Here, devotees can visit the revered Vishwanath Temple and the sacred Ardh Narishwar Temple.
From Guptkashi, the pilgrimage moves towards Gaurikund, the base point for the 16 km trek to Kedarnath. Pilgrims may choose to undertake this sacred trek on foot or opt for a helicopter ride arranged by Rajputana Holidays for a more comfortable and time-saving experience. Upon reaching Kedarnath Temple, devotees are immersed in the divine aura of one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, set against the breathtaking backdrop of snow-clad Himalayan peaks.
An overnight stay near Kedarnath Temple allows pilgrims to attend the peaceful morning aarti, a profoundly spiritual experience. On the return journey, travelers visit the sacred Triyuginarayan Temple, believed to be the celestial wedding site of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. The final leg of the tour takes devotees back to Rishikesh, where they explore Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula, and Triveni Ghat, before returning to Delhi.
This short yet powerful pilgrimage curated by Rajputana Holidays is ideal for devotees seeking divine blessings, spiritual awakening, and an unforgettable Himalayan experience within a limited timeframe.
Rajputana Holidays Recommendation:
Best Time to Visit: Plan your Kedarnath Yatra with Rajputana Holidays between May to June and September to October, when the weather is pleasant, skies are clear, and routes are easily accessible.
Delhi Excursion: Arrive early in Delhi to explore sacred and iconic landmarks such as Akshardham Temple, Lotus Temple, and India Gate before commencing your spiritual journey.
Trek vs. Helicopter: If you choose the traditional trek, start early and carry essentials like walking sticks, energy bars, and sufficient water. For added comfort, Rajputana Holidays can assist with helicopter bookings—advance reservations are highly recommended.
Packing Essentials: Pack warm clothing, sturdy trekking shoes, raincoats, thermals, and a basic first-aid kit, as temperatures in Kedarnath can drop due to its high altitude.
Health & Fitness: Prepare your body with light trekking, yoga, and breathing exercises prior to the journey to improve stamina and acclimatization.
Stay Options: Depending on availability and comfort preferences, choose from GMVN guesthouses, ashrams, or hotels arranged by Rajputana Holidays.
Local Experiences: Don’t miss a visit to the sacred Triyuginarayan Temple and spend time soaking in the peaceful, spiritual atmosphere of Kedarnath.
Travel Arrangements: Travel with trusted and experienced drivers arranged by Rajputana Holidays to ensure a safe and comfortable ride through the scenic Himalayan roads.
Guided Tour: Opt for an experienced guide to gain deeper insights into the mythological and historical significance of Kedarnath and its surrounding sacred sites.

Travel Insurance
Patience & Cooperation
This is a Yatra, not a luxury tour. While Rajputana Holidays makes every effort to manage logistics smoothly, limited infrastructure and high pilgrim volumes can lead to unavoidable inconveniences.
Events such as landslides, heavy traffic, or extreme weather are beyond human control. We sincerely request your patience and cooperation throughout the journey.
Special Note on Kedarnath Top Stay
Kedarnath Top accommodations are strictly non-luxurious and may not meet standard hotel expectations. Even at premium prices, pilgrims may experience:
Damp or basic rooms
Limited amenities
Heavy crowds and shared facilities
Despite these challenges, the spiritual experience of witnessing the holy shrine is deeply transformative and rewarding.
